"Plant medicine is the foundation of Old Thyme Medicine. It's the first thing that inspired everything else back in 2010 when I was first taking the dive into practicing complimentary and traditional medicine. In fact, it's what led me to Massage Therapy as well. I chose to keep prices as low as possible because I believe it's ethically responsible to connect my community with the plant people. My hope is to bring the plant people's medicine to hearts in my community and create a pathway for people to find the healing and care needed. If I can spend my life building such a bridge, it will be a life well lived." - Mary Katherine Hawk

Containers and bagging

You are welcome to bring in your own container or baggie to collect from our bulk herbs. We also have zip lock containers available as well. We use a scale to subtract the bag weight from the herb material. Price is per oz.

Pricing

We charge the same price we paid for or rounded up to the next dollar in addition to $1. That's it and no more. Due to wholesale pricing changing from one shipment to the next, we don't have a price listed online but please feel free to call or text us at 540-431-1515 to ask about prices. Shipment pricing can be effected by limited access to the herb or time of year. We order from a few different trust wholesalers in order to guarantee availability and quality.

Where do we order from?

Depending on availability, time of year, and pricing we change our wholesale supplier from one shipment to the next. The main companies we order from are Starwest Botanicals, Mountain Rose Herbs and Herb Co.

Return Policy

Returns on bulk herbs must be made same day or we must be notified of the desire to return herbs same day and the container must not be opened. This is to ensure the herbs are not contaminated or used. Bulk herbs are able to be viewed before purchase and our goal is to ensure that herbs go to the people in need of them so we ask that consideration is taken before purchase. As many may or may not realize, the herbal industry is massive and fast moving. This leads to large amounts of over harvesting and damage to the land. We ask that purchasing herbs is carefully considered and herbs are viewed for quality before purchase.

Our hope in this policy is to protect the plants.
